A top team from the USA, Salomon Crested Butte changed their plans to go to Primal Quest to come to the Turas instead. We are looking forward to seeing them In Ireland.
Jari Kirkland
Not just the “token” female on Team Salomon/Crested Butte, but lead navigator. She’s 31 years young and has been a team member for the last 5 years. As the course gets longer Jari’s engine gets stronger. She holds numerous course records, such as the 24 Hours of Moab, Montezuma’s Revenge, and Elk Mountain Grand Traverse. Bold & beautiful Jari grew up competitively swimming all the way through college. After moving to the mountains of Colorado she immediately took up triathlons, Nordic skiing, and mountain biking. She is a member of the 2008 US Ski Mountaineering Team. Good luck trying to catch her!
Eric Sullivan “Sully” 
The “baby” of the team at 27 years old. Growing up in Kansas, he dreamed of taking his game to the mountains and pushing his body in what ever he does. He holds several amateur boxing belts, in addition to the numerous multi-sport achievements. Most recently he picked up ski mountaineering last Winter, and broke the world record for most vertical climbed at the 24 Hours of Sunlight! As a member of Team Salomon/Crested Butte for the last 4 years, Eric is a well rounded athlete that excels in what ever he puts his mind to. One of the youngest in the sport he’s got a bright future.
Jon Brown “JB” 
At 36 years old, Jon brings a strong credibility to the team with a well stocked bag of tricks. Nordic skiing & XC running in college paved the way for a five year stint as a pro on the NORBA circuit. Although glamorous, this didn’t pay the bills so working as a raft guide supplemented the bike racing and provide the perfect background for Adventure Racing. Having won The Rage in the Sage mountain bike race, the Elk Mountain Grand Traverse, and a 2008 member of the US Ski Mountaineering Team, he can beat you in any season!
Bryan Wickenhauser “Wick”
The longest standing member of Team Salomon/Crested Butte, Bryan is a jack of all trades when it comes to adventure racing. From the business end of the team to running the navigation if Jari’s fried. Having growing up as a soccer player & alpine ski racer in Wisconsin, he naturally was attracted to the mountains of Crested Butte, CO. At 35 years old Bryan has found a new appreciation for Nordic skiing & back country touring in the local mountains. He is also a member of the 2008 US Ski Mountaineering Team, competing in Switzerland at the World Championships.
